Feeling nervous day by day
|
|
everyday i'm feeling more nervous day by day...
nervous because waiting for result of PTD which would determine my life after this.
I heard result will be out around 21-22 of Feb instead of 25th Feb, that means it would be next week..oh my god!
everyday i keep thinking about it,i know you guys will say take it easy, but I can't let it off my mind since I put a lot of effort for it.
I just think that I have to stay positive and believe that I will make it.
To release some tension in my mind, I watched Dunia Baru the movie yesterday,it was good,funny and worth my rm10.You guys should go to!

Holiday at Port Dickson
|
|
|
trip to port dickson during CNY holiday,there were lots of people going to PD, we took around 3 hours to reach PD from KL when it is usually only take 1 hour to reach PD.Anyway, it was quite enjoyable.

We are working for what?
|
|
this sentence keep replaying itself in my mind,for what?for most people,most popular answer would be to get money at the end of every month to support their expenses,it's true. However,if our intention is only for money then our life has become meaningless.We are a slave of money.
Let me share with you my working experience.My first job was with Astro,it's a job that pay you well but you have to work on shift.At that time,what I was looking for is to learn new skills as much as possible rather than making money.For the first several months,I would agree that I did learn some new skills but as time goes by I realized the skills that I learned there would not bring me to anywhere,it's only applicable to Astro only.To make things worse, I had to work on shift,I couldn't work on shift especially at night,my body couldn't take it as I am always sleep early,I wasn't use to work at nite.My health condition became bad,I became demotivated, my job had nothing more to learn for me,it's all about repetition.
That's when I realized I need to quit my job,although the salary is good but I did not enjoy working there,it's totally sucks,sorry to my friends who are still working there.In the end, I resigned and looking for better opportunities,some people said we should be loyal to our company.I said?what,are you kidding!In private sector,no loyalty to your company,you never know when they will stop loving you.Only in govt sector,you stay and be loyal.
OK stop talking bout that,I already went for PTD interview at putrajaya on 8/1/08. There were 3 panels that I met, all of them are friendly, in fact I was relieved that I did not get provoke by them.I answered what they asked and if I was not sure about the answer of the question, I will said 'I'm sorry sir,I'm not sure about that'.They gave me some hint to answer that,thanks anyway.Now I will wait to see that if i have the cutting edge to be a PTD.The result is next month.I'm worried also about it.The competition is too stiff,there are 1.3k candidates but they are taking 250 candidates only,oh my god!Who ever is in the 250 candidates must be DAMN lucky!
Just have confidence in myself and wait for the result

Late update
|
|
for the past 4-5 days,i have thought bout updating the blog but then my streamyx connection is still down arghh.Hopefully tomorrow the problem is solved since I already made an appointment wif TM technician to fix the problem.
anyway on the new year's day , I went to Eye on Malaysia, will post pictures of my visit to Eye On Malaysia when my internet connection is back.I just went there to know whether it is still open or not since I heard it will only be until 31st Dec. Looks like they extended their operation and I finally able to ride on the gondola..haha
Now,everyday I keep studying about upcoming ptd interview,mine is on tuesday 8th january. A lot of things, hopefully I'll be able to answer their questions and do my best. Thanks Kak Mae for the tips,she's a PTD by the way.
My preparation also rite now is disturbed by no internet in my house,most of the time, I did some research also during my free time in office and take notes about it and when I went back to my home, I'll read about it besides my other notes.
I feel kinda nervous also, this is the job that I really want, I badly want! Why? I believe that the job will open a lot of opportunities to learn new skill and meet new people.I love to meet talented and intelligent people and learn from them. Most importantly, I can be a part of the team that plan and implement govt policy and witness the effect of the policy as well as serving people with my highest accountability. That is the satisfaction that I'm looking for.
What can i do now, prepare for the worst thing can happened..and after that, leave it to God and hopefully i got the lucky charm 
tonight i'm going to KLIA,going to meet my mum and dad,they will arrive from Mekah. They have finished performing haj. Miss them a lot, just imagine around 1month++ i haven't meet my parent.

bad news and good news
|
|
so dlm 3-4 days ni ada beberapa good news and bad news happened to me..nak tau mana satu dulu?we'll go for bad news first ok?
since last saturday,i was sick,kinda bad also, fever, cough ..and after 2-3 days fever and cough xde dah but then ulcer pulak datang...ulcer tu pulak bukan ulcer biase yg ada 1-2 spots tu..this one ade 4-5 spots..the pain is terrible,i can't talk so much rite now,prefer to use YM in office also..
now lets go to the good news..
first of all,manchester united won 4-0 last nite and goes to the top of the league while arsenal only draw 0-0 haha...last time they said to us "Catch us if you can", now can you? we'll see lah ok hehe....
another good news, remember in my previous post i was talking about my pac camp(PTD) in kluang johor?last nite i got the result of the camp.guess what, i passed!! out of the 2000 candidates, i am among 800 who were chosen to go to the final stage of PTD recruitment,alhamdulillah. my interview will be next month which I don't have too much time to play around,have to prepare and make sure your health condition is good.
the faci at the camp told us that day 60000 candidates took the exam, 2000 were called for the camp,800 candidates will be going for interview session and finally 300 will be recruited as the new PTD.it sounds so difficult,yes it is.
hope i'll be able to make it as it is my vision throughout the year
